Soul Midwifery provides holistic person centred care for people approaching end of life. Soul midwives act as advocates, companions and guides for our friends as they embark on their final journey . Offering comfort interventions including gentle touch therapy. advance care planning, writing letters , memory work and end of life care vigiling.

I am a level 2 Soul Midwife having trained with the World acclaimed Soul Midwifery school founded by the mother of Soul Midwifery Felicity Warner.

We provide education in palliative and end of life care to meet your needs and to enhance outcomes for the people you are caring for.

We can develop bespoke packages of training for all grades of staff.

all of our training aligns to the Ambitions for Palliative and End of Life Care (NHSE 2021).

We also provide TLC training as developed by the  world renowned Soul Midwifery School- this training teaches compassion and kindness  via the medium of tender loving care, incorporating basic relaxation and gentle touch therapy which may bring comfort to those approaching end of life and their loved ones.

When someone you loves dies, it is a trauma, beyond imagination. Even if the death is expected , it is a sad and devastating time for your all.

I am here to support you plan a celebration of your loved ones life. This may be at the crematorium, a woodland burial site or another venue of your choosing, including local village halls, community centres, functions rooms - the venue can be as unique as the person you love. 

We will work together to plan how you would like to remember your beloved through flowers, music, poetry and readings ( and more dependant on what you desire).

I can work with the funeral director of your choice to ensure your final goodbye is achieved with love and compassion.

I cover the Colchester and Tendring locality, but will consider travelling further a field.

I trained with the Green Fuse Funeral academy in 2022.

Saying goodbye to a much loved pet , your friend ,can be one of the saddest things you'll have to do. I can offer a service of  remembrance to celebrate the life of your pet. This  can be just a ceremony, or can include  your internment of  the pets ashes or a graveside service. If you would like to discuss please contact me via the submission form or give me a call.
